This is a modern gothic version of the classic Cinderella story. A young girl with nothing walks into a modeling audition by sheer luck and is introduced to her prince, Ichiro Ikustam, which she’s loved before. But he would never have noticed her before if it hadn’t been for that day. In this world most women are “hybrids”, half human and part animal. And Ikustam Industries are in charge of the process to make them, cloth them, then give them to ‘masters’ as ‘hybrid harems’. Yes harems… Harmony is just that. She is a hybrid but without an owner and didn’t even realize she was until she became 15. Now she is 18 and becomes Ichiro’s season favorite, his harem for the fashion season. But if she fails to wow the public or displease Ichiro she will lose it all. Is all of this really worth Harmony’s freedom? Well whether or not it is it’s not her decision to make. From now on her life is owned by Ichiro, she is at his mercy and at his whims. ~

This story also has stories within it as well as many do. One side story is the dream of a girl named Cinnamon, trying to become a famous fashion designer for Ikustam Industries. But is she willing to give up all she has and sell out Harmony her best friend to get it and please her fiancé?

Side story two is the story of Natalie Ikustam, Ichiro’s young sister who is thrown into this whole world not by choice. How is she to remain pure and innocent in this world constructed by her mother and brother, not even by choice. She wants to spend time with her older brother yet he has no time to spend with her. And she is trying to the cure for his drinking problem. Yet even her one desire hasn’t been achieved, to see snow for the very first time in her life. Will she get her brother to notice her and to see snow for the first time?

Side Story three is a classic love triangle, but this love is different. Paige, a puppy hybrid is a favorite of Ichiro’s and was brought up by Bridgette her dearest and only trusted friend in the world who is also a favorite hybrid of Ichiro’s. One day Bridgette starts acting strange and begins to spend less time with Paige. Paige becomes curious as to why and it seems that Bridgette is in love with one of Ichiro’s close partners in the Industry. Not only is it strictly prohibited but Paige could lose Bridgette forever! But will Bridgette’s decision break Paige’s heart and lose all she has come to gain? Or will she continue with this easy life supporting the one she’s been told to look over for the rest of her life by her master?

Side Story four is a romantic tale of the foreigner Claude trying to win the heart of Cinnamon his boss at their past restaurant “Cinnamon’s Café”. But when Cinnamon turns her back on past dreams and on friends she also forgets about Claude and his hidden feelings. Will he be able to tell her how he feels and make her realize what she has done? And will he ever achieve his dream of owning his very own restaurant?

Side Story five is a luck or chance kind of a romance. Sirius, one of Ichiro’s four aces/best friends, is a gambler by nature. He owns a casino with a team of girls who sing and dance called ‘Locketts’ and a leading lady of all things lucky, his harem, Roulette. Roulette at heart is a tomboy who hates being dressy, but for the attention of Sirius, she’ll do almost anything. She is Roulette and it’ll be luck if she gets noticed by the money hungry Sirius.

Side Story six is Mikoto’s twisted plot to keep the company in her clutches, by marrying Ichiro off to another harem she chose herself. Will it work? Will Ichiro still be owned by her?

Side story seven is another romance involving Ichiro and Harmony. Will they admit their true feelings to each other and change the world?
